The manufacturing process combines investment casting for complex geometry formation with CNC machining on 5-axis centers, ensuring critical load-bearing surfaces achieve Ra 3.2μm smoothness. A full thermal treatment cycle—normalizing at 900°C, stress-relief annealing, oil quenching at 850°C, and tempering at 540-600°C—delivers HRC 32-36 hardness for optimal strength-toughness balance, capable of withstanding 25,000 lb vertical loads and 8,000 lb lateral forces.

Available in original forged finish or durable black baking varnish, surface treatments include MIL-SPEC shot blasting (SAE J444) for maximum paint adhesion and optional electro-galvanizing (ISO 1461) for corrosion resistance in marine environments. IATF 16949-certified production ensures automotive-grade quality control, with each hook undergoing magnetic particle inspection, 150% load testing, and dimensional verification via CMM. The reinforced throat design features 55° engagement angle for secure coupling, while the integrated grease channel allows for zerks fitting (1/4″-28 NPT standard) to minimize wear.
