Precision Investment Casting (Lost-Wax)

Shell Mold Casting

The TrueCast Precision Workflow
Our quality begins long before the metal is poured. Here is how we transform raw materials into precision-engineered components using our standard investment casting process:
1.Wax Pattern Injection & Assembly:Creating the replica.
High-quality wax is injected into precision aluminum dies to create highly accurate patterns. These are then assembled onto a central wax sprue to form a "tree."
2.Shell Building:Ceramic coating.
The wax tree is repeatedly dipped into a ceramic slurry and coated with fine refractory sand, then cured in a climate-controlled room to form a robust ceramic shell.
3.Dewaxing & Pre-heating:The lost-wax process.
The shell is placed in a high-pressure steam autoclave to rapidly melt and remove the wax. The hollow ceramic shell is then pre-heated to prepare it for molten metal.
4.Pouring & Solidification:Metallurgy in action.
Molten alloy—strictly monitored for chemical composition via spectrometer—is poured into the pre-heated shell and allowed to solidify under controlled conditions.
5.Knockout & Surface Finishing:Revealing the cast.
The ceramic shell is mechanically removed. Individual castings are cut from the sprue, then ground and shot-blasted to achieve a uniform, clean surface finish.
6.CNC Machining & Final QC:Meeting precise tolerances.
Components undergo final CNC machining to meet specific dimensional requirements. Every batch passes through rigorous quality inspections before being packaged for global shipping.
